Theater Workshop:
“WHAT DO YOU DO?”
– PART II –

How experiencing theater differently can create an impactful play

During the II part of Liminal‘s workshop participants with and without disabilities were asked to create a theater play. Working on the development of individual scenes, they experimented on their writing skills, offering creative feedback on the work of their peers and focusing on the issues of accessibility and inclusion both in their writing content and as a dramaturgical tool. Since the people involved experience theater in very different ways (traditionally or through accessibility services), they found themselves discussing more and more on what is theatrical writing (dialogue, stage directions, visual description of actions, etc), sharing their deepest issues, relating to each other and thus creating a play that will surely impact the Greek Theatrical Scene.

The program will be concluded with an open presentation of the excerpts and texts created, which will take place on Tuesday, 25th April at 19:00, at Choros (Plateia Theatrou, Athens). The event will have interpretation in the Greek Sign Language and will be followed by an open discussion with the creators.
